The words "free trial" meant I had nothing to lose by stepping into Azeroth, so few more mouse clicks and I was a fresh-minted mage killing kobolds for Marshal McBride. I had seven 80s in Wrath, and all of them had at least full 251 gear before Cataclysm launched; heck, I had the ICC drakes on two different characters. Take as many missions as you are able in the newbie village. Several buildings and features dot the estate grounds, including a barn and stables, a large sandy ring complete with training dummies, and other buildings one would expect to find as part of such a lavish estate. After you level up, re-check around about for more yellow marks. If someone has 3 missions take them all. Yet in Cataclysm, I find myself leveling them much more slowly and in fact didn"t touch any until I had gotten my main through heroics until the point that justice points became useless and I had been exalted with every Cataclysm reputation except my guild. You can always drop a mission and at least for the first 20 hours of play you can always get it agan by going back.
